Great information on getting connected on Facebook! This will help me out as I grow my own business online.

One challenge that keeps coming up in my mind would be this; do I want to use my family and friends Facebook account or should I create a new account exclusively for my business? I keep leaning toward option two and would like some opinions or advice. Thanks.

Really, this blog is interesting and informative.
I like this post. In my opinion we should go with both MLM and Affiliate marketing. This blog is so useful for me to know more about MLM and Affiliate.
Thanks for sharing this nice blog

Hi, Alan. You're welcome. Facebook experienced a backlash, that's for sure. They recently announced changes that give people more security about their privacy but reportedly there are still some issues that need to be explored.

Hi Debbie,

Thanks for the link to the Wired article. I had already figured that Facebook didn't really care about privacy, but nice to know that they really don't. I read an article recently from PC World (I think) that gave 8 privacy options you should optimize on Facebook and did them all. One of them was turning off the personalization feature.

Thanks again,
Alan

Goldman Sachs recently upgraded Tupperware. To me, this is just another sign that MLM will be a strong growth market this decade. The smart money is watching direct selling business models to see if the extended recession would lead to more participants in the MLM industry due to lack of jobs. They will invest in the public MLM companies if initial signals are positive.

I agree with this posting. You can't ignore the legal end, because it could end up costing you a lot down the line. Nice article.

Hey Debbi,

Honestly I prefer to use both MLM and affiliate marketing. Yes you earn money from your primary program, but you can also earn more money from promoting affiliate products (that actually benefit your leads). Integrating affiliate products was the best thing I could have done for my business because I was able to generate a positive cost per lead and better optimize my ad campaigns. This was a good post, thanks for sharing.

John, Happy New Year's to you as well, my friend. I'm heading out soon to Las Vegas to cover Affiliate Summit West and will be reporting back here sharing more insights on the convergence of mlm and affiliate marketing. 2010 will be a year where we'll see a dramatic increase in the number of those participating in the convergence in some way, shape or form.
