Networkers and Affiliates Continue to Converge in 2013

Networkers and affiliates will continue to converge in 2013. At Affiliate Summit East in New York, I gave a presentation on the convergence of network marketing (mlm) and affiliate marketing. What I predicted then at that conference has come to pass.

As you know, and as evidenced in the mlm affiliate marketing convergence video, I love networkers and I love affiliates. Those that take their businesses seriously work hard, are eager to learn, and understand that the world is volatile.

They are way too smart to think that there are reliable income guarantees in this life. They knew that way before the global economic meltdown. They know that if they grow an independent networking and/or an affiliate business, it can free them from being totally dependent on income from a job. And they certainly don’t want to be dependent upon government handouts. They both share an independent spirit that I truly respect and admire.

More affiliates are now either joining or seriously looking into network marketing collaborative opportunities. There are many reasons. Foremost among them, however, is the ability to garner greater ongoing residual incomes. While there are residual income opportunities for affiliates, the amount of income that can be generated is far more limited than in network marketing.

This is true since affiliates getting paid solely for their own efforts are not able to leverage the efforts of others in increasing affiliate income. Since networkers can each profit from their own sales production and the sales production of their respective downline team members, networkers have the potential to earn far greater residual incomes.

Many top affiliates and top networkers are working both network marketing programs and affiliate programs. Often the tactics used create a synergy between the two whereby both revenue streams are increased.

Networkers are also joining forces with experienced affiliates by either sponsoring them as networkers in their downlines and/or doing a collaboration whereby they agree to promote each others’ offerings (non-competitive, yet often complementary).

The mlm affiliate marketing convergence will continue to grow as both affiliate and networkers join forces to expand their respective businesses. The key, as always, is to do it in an ethical way, abiding by all policies and procedures, terms and conditions, etc. of their respective network marketing firms/merchants/networks while also operating within legal parameters.

More network marketing firms themselves will try to establish a linkage with affiliate marketing in 2013. There are many commonalities between the two but there are also real and perceptual differences that must be taken into account. The firms that take the time to properly address those critical issues satisfying the needs of both affiliates and networkers can enjoy a unique competitive advantage in the marketplace.

As head of the world’s leading mlm consulting firm in network marketing and affiliate marketing convergence strategies, we have developed exciting, truly revolutionary programs for our clients to utilize. Those who have followed my articles, books, blog posts, attended my presentations at corporate conferences, etc., know that my firm is committed to innovation that works. As such, staying ahead of everyone else in looking to the future has always been something our clients have greatly appreciated.

I’ll be in Las Vegas for the upcoming Affiliate Summit West 2013 from January 13-15. Let me know if you’re coming so I can meet you there. You’ll join some of the top networkers and affiliates in the world who will be in attendance, all of them looking to collaborate and network with you.

Here in mlm consultants’ blog and in the premier mlm network marketing newsletter, MyNetBrief, you can secure much more information on the convergence. So make sure you are currently a MyNetBrief subscriber. You can also follow me on Twitter where I share breaking research data as well relating to tactics that can be utilized to expand your business.

Now you know that networkers and affiliates will continue to converge in 2013. What action steps are you going to take right now to capitalize on that convergence?

Happy New Year and God bless! Great success to you in 2013!
